as a Horticulturist at Mounts Botanical Garden, and in 2018 was promoted to Horticulture Supervisor for a total of sixteen years working at Mounts Botanical Garden. Matt's favorite plants are Palms and Heliconias (he likes the tropical stuff!) His favorite areas in Mounts Botanical Garden are the Tropical Shade & Color Island, the Tropical Forest, and the Garden of Well Being. Matt also says "I enjoy the outdoors: surfing, snowboarding, (and) hiking are some of my favorite hobbies. I like to travel yearly to snowboarding and surfing destinations. Being outside in the outdoors is my happy place."
