His current research focuses on species diversity of trees in urban areas,  the management of street trees, and linkages between nursery production, landscape planning, and consumer preferences affect available nursery stock. He is primarily focused on nursery production, arboriculture, and integrated pest management for his current position. He likes running, photography, and vegetable gardening outside of work. "
