We are excited to try something new for our annual auction event this year. We are having a Home-made Goods Auction. We know that our members have many talents in cooking, baking, crafting and preserving, and we want to have an event that shows off everyone's talents and sparks curiosity among those who haven't tried some things yet. this fundraiser should do that as well as raising some funds for our ongoing activities. We are counting on our members (and their guests, if they want to participate) to bring in their specialties and even their experiments for this event.
Next month's speaker is our own Pam Wilcox, a well-versed herbalist in her own right. This will be the first time that Pam has agreed to share some of her secrets with the group. It will be a very special treat.
Next month is the the Spring Plant-a-Palooza at the Mounts Botanical Garden, and our Society will have a booth. There will be a signup sheet going around for volunteers for the plant sale. The dates are April 29 & 30. Hope you can help, especially on Sunday.
